Are you involved in the construction industry? Perhaps you’re working on job sites now but want to improve your skills. Or maybe you have a business that offers construction-related services in one or more of the trades, but you’d like to expand it and become more involved with other projects. Either way, the City of Raleigh Housing and Neighborhoods Department’s Job Fair on could help you.

What will you find? Opportunities!
Business owners will be able to meet builders currently working with the City and DHIC on our projects and learn how to apply for or submit bids for them to consider. You’ll also be able to learn more about current and future construction needs.
Those of you interested in making or furthering your career in the construction industry can learn about job training courses from the North Carolina Home Builders Association (NCHBA) and Youthbuild.
Representatives from nonprofits – including Step Up Ministry, Saint Augustine University’s Adult Education program, Dress for Success, NCWorks/Youthbuild and the NCHBA will be there too to talk with you about education and employment needs.
